Krawa Tote Bag by Fulnio People

Krawa Tote Bag by Fulnio People

Handmade of Krawa Fiber
This unique looking Tote Bag is made following ancient weaving techniques.
The Fulni-ô is the only indigenous group of Northeastern Brazil that was able to keep its language – the Ia-tê – alive and active, as well as the ritual they call Ouricuri, which is currently performed in total secrecy. They live currently in the interior of the State of Pernambuco, in the area known as Sertão (semi-arid region). They still plant their roças (crops), using only their family workforce and generaly sell part of their production.
