This unique looking Tote Bag is made following ancient weaving techniques.
The Fulnio is the only indigenous group of Northeastern Brazil that was able to keep its language alive and active, as well as the ritual they call Ouricuri, which is currently performed in total secrecy. They live currently in the interior of the State of Pernambuco, in the area known as Serṭo (semi-arid region). They still plant their ro̤as (crops), using only their family workforce and generaly sell part of their production.
